Objectives
1. Identify participant¡¯s trouble American English sounds, stress and intonation patterns.
2. Correct phonemic errors
2. Develop word stress and sentence stress of American English
3. Produce and identify meaning change through intonation
4. Understand and use English rhythm by distinguishing between function and content
words
5. Use reductions, linking and contractions
6. Use all phonemes of standard American English with a moderate degree of accuracy
in both formal and informal situations using IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet)
7. Help student¡¯s carry-over new pronunciation skills
